How We Got Here
Karen Behfar founded the team with a background you don’t usually see in real estate: a Master’s in Psychology and Education. That training sits underneath every part of how we work with sellers and buyers. We listen first, then negotiate.
Karen and her co-founder Aharon Behfar started with two agents. Today we’re 14, working out of 1524 East 23rd Street in the heart of Midwood. We’re not driving in from Manhattan. We know which side of Ocean Parkway holds value differently than the other, which blocks families wait years to move onto, and which listings really mean “motivated seller.”
Who We Serve
The bulk of our work is seller representation: single-family, condos, co-ops, multi-family, and rental properties. When you’re ready to list, we price it against what’s actually closing on your block, not what Zillow thinks your home is worth.
We also work with buyers, especially first-time buyers who need someone to explain what’s actually happening at each stage of the process.

Founder · Lead Agent
Master’s in Psychology and Education. Most of our Midwood and Madison seller listings come through her. She’s the person clients call when a deal gets complicated and they need someone to find a path through.
Aharon Behfar
Co-Founder
Co-founded the team with Karen. Works across seller and investor deals throughout south Brooklyn, with a focus on multi-family and rental properties.
